Vice President and General Counsel
Thomas Tshudy joined United Launch Alliance (ULA) in November 2015 as vice
president and general counsel.
Before joining ULA, Tshudy served as senior vice president and general counsel for ILS International Launch Services. Previously, he served as vice president and general counsel at Lockheed Martin while ILS was a subsidiary to sell and market the Atlas II, III and V launch vehicles. Tshudy also served as division counsel for the Delta and International Space Station programs and later as the business director for Reusable Launch Vehicle programs at McDonnell Douglas Corporation in Huntington Beach, California. Prior to that position he was senior counsel for the McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company in Mesa, Arizona.
Tshudy began his career in 1983 with the United States Air Force on active duty as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate and later served as an Air Force reservist for more than 15 years until he retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2005.
Tshudy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Pennsylvania State University, a master’s in business administration from University of California Los Angeles and a Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University.Download PDF
