ULA to Unveil Transformational Program to Launch Nation’s CubeSats


ULA to Make University CubeSats Rides More Affordable and Accessible

What: Media are invited to participate in a news conference (remotely or in-person) on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 9:30 a.m. MT, during which United Launch Alliance (ULA) CEO Tory Bruno will unveil ULA’s new program that will transform the way our nation’s CubeSats are launched. 

As America’s ride to space, ULA has launched 102 missions, including more than 60 secondary payloads, ranging from small CubeSats to large payloads, with 100 percent mission success. Additionally, ULA is making space more affordable and accessible, including innovative programs like its new Vulcan rocket and additive manufacturing efforts. 

CubeSats are miniaturized satellites – originally designed for use in conjunction with university educational projects – and are typically 4” x 4” x 4” and approximately three pounds.
