Washington
– Today, United Launch Alliance (ULA) CEO Tory Bruno will testify at the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, Subcommittee on Space, Science, and Competitiveness hearing “Destination Mars – Putting American Boots on the Surface of the Red Planet.”

“With an unmatched record of 100 percent launch success in 128 national security, civil and commercial space missions, ULA’s expertise when it comes to interplanetary missions is unparalleled,” said Bruno. “Since the company’s formation in 2006, ULA has successfully launched every United States mission to the Red Planet, and Atlas V and Delta rockets have launched missions to each of the planets in our solar system.”

“Together, Congress, the Administration, and industry can chart a path forward that uses the lunar surface as a test bed and jumping off point for Mars,” said Bruno. “ULA will play a key role: serving as the transportation service for commercial activities in CisLunar space so that NASA can focus on pressing forward into deep space.”
